Atoske Holding Company (AHC) is the economic development arm of the Chippewa Cree Tribe of the Rocky Boy’s Indian Reservation, a sovereign nation near Box Elder, Montana.
The Chippewa Cree Tribe was established by Congressional Action September 7, 1916. We operate within the Tribe’s Reservation, which is also the location of our Corporate Office.
Our primary mission is to identify, create, or invest in viable business ideas and entities that can produce long-term economic value to the tribe.
Our investment approach is to seek long-term capital growth through a diversified portfolio comprised of a variety of companies that include tribal operating companies, tribal lending companies, and management of Native American funds invested in businesses that have the opportunity, in whole or in part, to add value to the organization and its mission.
Through direct investment in and development of various business entities, Atoske Holding Company provides operating and/or interest revenue to the Tribal community. The company may acquire or invest portions of its portfolio in other non-financial related assets and businesses if they meet the core value that guides the AHC—namely to create long-term economic growth opportunities for the Chippewa Cree Tribe.
